The first great world war never gets much love. That changes with Battlefield 1, set during WW1 and utilizing a retro arsenal of early 20th century weaponry. Battlefield 1 weapons shows you saber-wielding cavalry ride side-by-side with heavily armored tanks, and you’ll get to use plenty of unique armaments not usually seen in the world of video games.

Everything old is new again, and that means you’ll deal with weapons that have never previously been utilized in the Battlefield series. This isn’t a steampunk-inspired alternate history romp either, EA promises authenticity when it comes to the terrifying situations and tense battles you’ll take part in on land or in the air. From the trailers alone, we’ve been able to identify a bevy of historic weaponry. Join as we as break down the roster of weaponry that will launch with Battlefield 1 in October.

About Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 Weapons

World War 1 was brutal, and the deadly weapons of the period that appear in Battlefield 1 reflect that. Mixing experimental weapons, messy melee tools, and other class-specific gadgets, the arsenal of Battlefield 1 will be new to most players — the WW1 setting isn’t as instantly recognizable as WW2, even if some of your favorites from those FPS shooters (including the original Battlefield 1943) can be utilized here.
